Notes before applying the upper plate
This upper plate design applies to Serpent SRX8 GTE ‘23 1/8 4WD EP and Traxxas 740544 Ford Fiesta ST Rally 1/10.
The design was created in Solidworks, and both SLDPRT and STL files are shared.
To minimize sensor uncertainty due to flex, the plates are designed at 5T–5.5T. Stiffness depends on infill and material, so adjust as needed for your environment. (Infill 20%, triangle pattern, ABS reference)
There is no dedicated space for mounting a BEC. We fixed it to the underside of the upper plate with double‑sided silicone tape.
